The Challenge

The Challenge is the only real challenge there is.

We have multiple chances for challenge every day.

But when one is committed to oneself instead of to the world, or its ideas, or to simple laziness, one has forgone challenge in favor of what is expected of them.

They "take their days off," metaphorically and literally, splurge a bit, maybe get married, and stick to false platitudes like "Don't work too hard."

But the Path, which is entirely about the Self, absolutely REQUIRES the embrace of the Challenge.

When this is done, it is a rolling, net effect, a singular guiding but all-encompassing principle. It is a dedication to the True Intent of the Self, and this is what it means to be living as a Sorcerer.

Such will bring about the Will of the Sorcerer as he needs it, for in dedication to the challenges he must face he is thus birthed and becomes a Warrior.
